- INSURANCE E-COMMERCE PORTAL -
PROJECT OVERVIEW
Our team was tasked to help our client, a top-tier global insurance company, to design an insurance eCommerce platform within a very limited timeline. Working as the design lead as well as the main UX designer, I worked closely with the business as well as the dev team to establish the baseline for future-proof design assets, and bring designs into implementation at a fast pace. The team successfully launched our 1st phase of designs in early April 2019 & the design team’s deliverables were highly appreciated by the senior stakeholders.
KEY CHALLENGES
Challenging timeline
The team only has 3-month time to design & build a new digital service from scratch. Faced with this challenge, we have agreed on clear-defined work scope, identified the potential risks & prepared solutions for those scenarios, and established a close work relationship to touch base with the working team on a daily basis to ensure communications were made in time.
MOVING PIECES ON THE GO
As the platform will be used by customers to apply for a new type of insurance product. By the time when we worked on the designs, the product itself was still under refinement. Our team analyzed the potential scenarios & prepared design solutions to cater to those situations.
